Tigers senior coach Adam Henley announced his resignation from the position following completion of the final game for the 2016 season against Glenorchy at KGV last Friday night.
We would like to express our thanks to Adam for his tremendous contribution he has made to the Tigers.
Adam joined the club 8 years ago as our senior coach in the Southern Football League. Adam coached our senior team for 5 years at this level. He brought a great deal of success to us including that great premiership win in 2011 against the previously undefeated New Norfolk.
When the club took the giant step of joining the premier Tasmanian football competition the Tasmanian Statewide League Adam was there to take on the huge role of developing our senior boys into a competitive unit in the competition.
Over this three years we have had four players make the Tasmanian Squad at senior level and last year we had 2 players selected in the AFL draft. All this has been achieved with Adam at the helm. Adam also was an assistant coach to our state team over this time.
Well done Adam and we send you our thanks for your efforts and best wishes for your future endeavors.
